Centuries ago dyes made from vegetables, edible flowers, fruits, coffee, tea, leaves, bark, and roots were used to tint eggs. The Easter tradition of coloring eggs will continue at the Little Sisters of the Poor Home located at 1028 Benton Avenue. On Monday, April 6, 2009 at 6:30 p.m the Knights of Malta will dye eggs with the Residents on the St. Michael’s Household

“We are so grateful that the Knights of Malta are sharing this Easter tradition with the Residents of our Home,” said Sister Mary Vincent, Administrator.
