Get your purple, gold and green beads ready and let the Mardi Gras parade begin at the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on February 24, 2008! The King and Queen of the parade will be crowned in the Home’s new Auditorium. Sister Mary Vincent, Administrator of the Home will give a speech and toast the Mardi Gras King and Queen.

New to the parade this year is the “shoe box” float competition. Each Household created their own shoe box float and these will be judged for prizes. Following the parade there will be games, surprises, and refreshments.
