Saint Alexis 8th Graders to Make Doggie Treats With the Residents
at the Little Sisters of the Poor

What do you get when you mix whole wheat flour, peanut butter, milk and baking powder together then bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes? Doggie Treats, and the 8th grade class from Saint Alexis will be making them along with the Residents at the Little Sisters of the Poor Home on Monday, February 22 at 9:30 a.m. The Home is located at 1028 Benton Avenue, Pittsburgh.
“The Residents look forward to the visits from the school children,” said Sister Mary Vincent, Administrator of the Little Sisters of the Poor Home. “We’re so glad when they come to the Home.”
The Residents bake the treats once a month at the Little Sisters and deliver them to Animal Friends at 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh.
