Mardi Gras Celebrated with a King and Queen at the Little Sisters of the Poor

It’s certainly not Rio de Janeiro, but the Mardi Gras parade at the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1028 Benton Avenue at 2:30 p.m. on February 16, 2010 will be filled with colorful costumes, music and fun! We’re crowning the King and Queen of the parade in the Home’s Auditorium.

Once again there will be a “shoe box” float competition. Each Household created their own shoe box float and these will be judged for prizes. Following the parade there will be games, surprises, and refreshments.
