Little Sisters of the Poor to Receive Champions in Action Award from Citizens Bank

Citizens Bank will present a check for $25,000 to Sister Mary Vincent Mannion, Administrator of the Little Sisters of the Poor Home in Pittsburgh as part of their Champions in Action Award. This nonprofit award will be presented by Ralph Papa, President of Citizens Bank, at the Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Pavilion located at 1020 Benton Avenue at 11:30 a.m. on January 10, 2007

Champions in Action is a unique initiative designed to reward nonprofit organizations that work hard to support change in our communities and strive to make life better for everyone.

“God has given the Little Sisters of the Poor great joy by allowing us to care for the elderly poor for so many years. We are truly humbled to receive this award from Citizens Bank and WPXI which allows us to continue our mission in Pittsburgh,” said Sister Mary Vincent.
