  • We are state licensed and offer a continuum of care:  independent living apartments, personal care and nursing care.

  • The Little Sisters give hands-on care, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  They live where they serve.

  • Eleven Little Sisters live and work in the Home daily, and are aided by lay employees.

  • We provide food, shelter, medical, social and spiritual activities, and many other services.

  • We offer intergenerational programs.  Residents participate in many activities with local elementary schools, high schools, service organizations, colleges and universities.

  • Our Home serves the elderly poor throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.  Admission is not strictly "first come, first serve."

  • We rely on community support to operate our Home.

  • Our Home is ecumenical.  All faiths are welcomed and worship here.

  • We offer private rooms for all of our Residents.  The inner desires of the elderly include a need for both freedom and privacy, especially when the care they need is often very personal.
  • The average age of Residents upon admission is 81.

  • We have more than 100 volunteers who assist our Residents and our staff.

  • Although we are not a United Way funded agency, donations can be made to the Little Sisters through the United Way.  Our donor option number is 244.
