The newly renovated Gloria Chapel at the Little Sisters of the Poor Pittsburgh Home. |

The
Little Sisters Benton Avenue Home and Chapel were originally built in 1923
through the generosity of benefactors, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Wall. The
Walls donated a large piece of land to the Sisters in order to build a new
Home for the elderly poor, as a memorial to their only child, James P.
Wall. |

Epiphany-Adoration of the Magi Window The Magi, in wonderment, follow the new star, a sign to them of a new-born King, and offer their gifts: Sing to God all the earth, serve the Lord with gladness. (Psalm 11:2) Their visit prompts King Herod to seek the death of this new-born Child. The Holy Family flees but many infants are slaughtered - the first Christian martyrs (the palm representing their martyrdom and the daisies their innocence). |
